Save Reddit videos, including the audio track when Reddit provides one

Paste the public reddit.com post, not a raw v.redd.it file. Reddit often stores picture and sound separately — that is why so many saved clips are silent.

Only use links you own or have permission to download. Private, paid, and login-walled posts will be refused.

Use the post permalink

In the app: Share → Copy link. In a browser: copy the address bar on the comments page. Crossposts are resolved to the original public post when Reddit exposes it.

Removed posts, private subreddits, and most user-deleted videos will fail on purpose.

Video and audio are different files

Reddit’s player stitches a video DASH file and an audio DASH file while you watch. A right-click save usually grabs only the picture. Downaro lists the public tracks it can see. This Hostinger-friendly release does not remux them into one MP4 on the server.
