Save public TikTok videos
Paste a public TikTok you are allowed to keep. Short vm.tiktok.com links from the share sheet are fine. Private videos are not.
Copy the link from TikTok
Open the video → Share → Copy link. The share sheet often produces a short vm.tiktok.com URL. Downaro follows that redirect only onto TikTok hosts.
On desktop, you can copy the address bar on tiktok.com instead.
About watermarks
TikTok’s in-app Save button can burn a logo and username into the file. The public watch page also advertises a separate download file that does not include that overlay. That is the file people mean by “TikTok without watermark”.
Downaro does the same job without editing pixels: when TikTok publishes a download file on the public page, the first button is Save MP4 (no in-app logo). If TikTok only exposes the player file, we list that instead of inventing a clean MP4.
Slideshows and sounds
Some TikTok posts are photo slideshows or sound-first posts. Those are not the same as a single MP4. If the public page does not expose a video file, the result will say so.
iPhone users: Safari keeps the download in Files. Move it to Photos when you want it in the camera roll.

Yes. Copy Link from the TikTok share sheet is the usual source. Downaro follows short links only to TikTok hosts.
Will Downaro remove a watermark?
We do not edit pixels. TikTok’s public page often advertises a download file that never received the in-app Save logo. When that URL is present, Downaro lists “Save MP4 (no in-app logo)”. If TikTok only publishes a preview, we say so.
Why did a TikTok fail?
The video may be private, removed, or region-limited. If TikTok only returns a preview, Downaro will say so instead of showing a fake download.
