TikTok video downloader for public videos and photos
Paste a public TikTok you are allowed to keep. Short vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com links from the share sheet are fine. Private posts are not.

What this TikTok video downloader does
You paste a public TikTok URL. Downaro follows short links only onto TikTok hosts, then lists the player file and any official Save encode that page already advertised. The shorter search “tiktok downloader” is the same product. There is no second page for that phrasing.
It is for a public clip you are allowed to keep — often your own post, or a file someone cleared. It is not a way around a private account, a region lock, or TikTok’s sign-in wall.
We do not edit pixels. “No watermark” here means the public player file TikTok already published, not a cleaned-up copy we manufactured.
Copy the link
Open the video → Share → Copy link. The sheet often produces vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com. On a computer you can copy the address bar on tiktok.com instead. Profile URLs, live rooms, and search pages are not media posts.
Watermarks, honestly
TikTok’s in-app Save burns a logo and username into its download file. The public watch page also advertises the player file used for playback, which does not include that overlay. That player file is what people mean by “TikTok video downloader without watermark.”
The first button is Save MP4 (no watermark) when TikTok publishes the player file. A second button may offer the official Save encode, labeled as having the logo. If only a preview exists, we say so. We will not show a fake HD list.
Photos and slideshows
Photo posts list every public image TikTok advertised — not one fake MP4. If a slideshow also publishes a video file, that appears separately.
When a TikTok fails
- The post is private, deleted, or limited to a region our server cannot see.
- TikTok returned only a preview. We report that instead of inventing a quality.
- You pasted a profile or a For You link, not the video.
Open the same URL logged out. If TikTok asks you to sign in, this page will refuse the link.
On iPhone
Safari keeps the file in Files. Move it to Photos if you want the camera roll.

Questions people actually ask
Do vm.tiktok.com short links work?
Yes. Copy Link from the TikTok share sheet is the usual source. Downaro follows short links only to TikTok hosts.
Will Downaro remove a watermark?
We do not edit pixels. TikTok’s public page often advertises a player file without the official Save logo, and a separate Save encode that has the logo. Downaro lists “Save MP4 (no watermark)” for the player file. If TikTok only publishes a preview, we say so.
Why did a TikTok fail?
The video may be private, removed, or region-limited. If TikTok only returns a preview, Downaro will say so instead of showing a fake download.
Do TikTok photo posts work?
Yes. Public photo and slideshow posts list every image TikTok advertised. Short vt.tiktok.com and vm.tiktok.com links are followed onto TikTok hosts only.
