What to write

A specific public URL and what you expected beats a one-line “it doesn’t work.” If the file appeared and then vanished on iPhone, say that — Safari often drops the clip in Files, which the iPhone guide covers.

If a Reddit clip has picture but no sound, say so. That is usually their split files, not a broken button. The Reddit sound guide explains it. If you already know the host — Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Pinterest, or YouTube — name it when the short link hides it.

What this inbox cannot do

  • Delete a post from Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Pinterest, Reddit, or YouTube.
  • Reach a file already on your phone.
  • Unlock a private account, a paywall, or a DRM stream.
  • Invent a file when the platform only showed a login wall.

A listed MP4 is a technical result: the platform advertised a public file. It is not a licence. How you may use the tool is on the terms.

Copyright notices

The form can carry a first ping. A formal notice belongs on the copyright page, in email, so the wording and the attachments stay in one thread. We cannot take a Reel down on Instagram for you. That company has its own form.

Do you auto-reply?

No. A person reads the inbox. There is no chatbot and no promised same-hour reply. Complete messages — a URL and what you expected — get read first.

What should I include if a link failed?

The public URL you pasted, what you expected to see, and the platform if a short link hides it. “It doesn’t work” is not enough to investigate.

Will you ask for my Instagram password?

Never. Downaro does not need a platform login. If a reply asks for a password, a session cookie, or a two-factor code, it is not us.

Where do I send a copyright notice?

Use the copyright page so the notice is complete. The form can carry a first ping, but a formal notice belongs in that email thread.

Can you delete a video from TikTok or YouTube?

No. We cannot remove a post from Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Pinterest, Reddit, or YouTube. Those companies have their own forms.
